The active ingredient of this product is Methylenechloride and when burned produces chlorine gas. The inhalation of these gases can have harmful and permanent effects, including cancer. Methylenechloride has powerful degreasing properties and excessive exposure could lead to permanent skin problems. Methylenechloride evaporates rapidly and the vapours can cause nausea, narcotic effects and possible permanent brain damage. Use Hand & eye protection at all times and always use in well ventilated areas with cartridge mask. Always test the suitability of the product in a discretely hidden area; once satisfied with the result, continue using the safety solvent as desired.
